Salesforce has partnered with Instagram to increase its engagement rate.
The social network is also introducing new features to its platform, including the ability to show a personalized summary of Instagram posts that show up in its search results.
As part of this update, Instagram will also be adding the ability for users to create custom summary posts with additional details such as location, date, and time of day.
The new features will be rolled out in a series of updates.
The first of these updates will roll out on October 20.
Instagram’s announcement comes after the company said it had increased the amount of posts it had to manually scan and re-scan each time a user searched for Instagram.
In an interview with TechCrunch, Mark Zuckerberg said that the company had made the change to increase the engagement rate by 25 percent.
Facebook’s acquisition of Instagram, which went live in December, will add another layer of data to Facebook’s search results and enable more powerful search algorithms.
