Improve your search engine ranking by improving your podcast ranking by a significant margin, according to the latest research.
The research from search engine giant Google is a huge boost to podcasting industry as it indicates podcasting is heading in the right direction.
“It’s really exciting to see the impact of this research,” said Chris O’Connell, executive director of The Globe and Mail Podcast Network, which has a membership base of nearly 5 million.
“The podcast industry is one of the fastest-growing industries in the country.
It’s growing so fast it’s becoming a big business.”
The research indicates that podcasting can be a profitable business.
According to Google, podcasting increased in the United States by more than 4.6 per cent in 2017.
That’s up from 1.3 per cent growth in 2017 and up from 0.8 per cent of total traffic in 2017, according the research.
The research also indicates podcast growth has been slowing in other countries.
It shows a 10 per cent decline in the growth of podcasting traffic in the UK from 2017 to 2017, while growth in Canada dropped from 2.9 per cent to 1.9 percent.
The data shows podcasts are also benefiting from new platforms, such as Amazon, Google Play Music, iTunes and Apple Music.
Google says podcasting’s growth in North America and Europe has also been “staggering.”
“It is a big boost for the podcast industry because these platforms are becoming more important as listeners, listeners get more access to podcasts and the content is getting more relevant to them,” O’Connor said.
The Globe and 30 other Canadian podcasting websites, including the CBC, are among those who were part of the research project.
The Globe has also made it a priority to grow its podcasting business.
O’Connell said the research shows podcasting has more than doubled in value since the late 1980s.
“That is a great story,” he said.
“What we’re seeing is a massive growth in podcasting, but the biggest thing is the growth in the overall market, in terms of revenue, in the Canadian podcast market.”
The study found that Canadian podcasts increased their podcast traffic by 6.7 per cent over the last four years.
“This is a very impressive number.
It means podcasts are actually growing faster than they did four years ago,” said Andrew McNeil, vice president and general manager of global communications at Google.”
The podcasting market is the largest one in the developed world.
It is not just about podcasting; it’s about social and lifestyle content and it’s not just podcasts, it’s all the other online and digital services.”
Google says the podcasting economy is growing at a rate of more than 25 per cent per year since 2010.
That includes growth of more like 8 per cent or 8 per 100 listeners in the US, which is a substantial increase from the 4.4 per cent gain in podcast traffic that the Globe found in 2016.
Google said that over the past five years, podcast listenership has increased at a faster rate than the overall economy.
“This is really encouraging, and it shows the market is growing faster and faster,” McNeil said.
The study shows podcast traffic has grown by 6 per cent since the mid-1990s.
But in the last 10 years, the number of podcast listeners has grown at a much slower rate than GDP growth.
“It’s been a slow growth, but a lot of growth over the years has come through podcasting,” McNeill said.
McNeil said Google’s Podcast Index has tracked podcasting growth for more than five years.
The company tracks about 3 million podcasts on its platform, including podcasts that are hosted by Google employees and Google-owned content.
The numbers also show that Google is working on a podcast app that could potentially boost podcasting.
Google’s chief product officer, Marc Lore, said in a statement that the podcast app is being developed by Google as a standalone product, and that it is in the works.
Google says it has partnered with many of the top podcasting companies to improve their podcasting platforms, including Apple Music, Apple Podcasts, iTunes Radio and Soundcloud.
McNeill said Google is also investing in podcasts to improve the overall quality of the content, including in the way it’s presented and what kind of audio content is available.
“We’re seeing podcasts grow and they’re growing in volume and are growing in listenership,” he added.
McConnell said Google and podcasting are also working to develop new platforms.
The podcasting company is working with Google to develop a podcasting app.
Oddly, the study also found that the number one podcasting platform is YouTube, with nearly 17 per cent share of podcast traffic in 2016, up from 9 per cent the previous year.
That increase in
