On the heels of Google’s latest earnings report, the search giant reported that its search traffic is increasing by a whopping 3% every quarter.
Google’s revenue grew 7% in the first quarter of 2018, up from a 4% increase in the same period last year.
The company also reported that search engine traffic is growing at double the rate of the rest of the internet, up to 20% a quarter.
Google’s traffic to the internet grew 8% year over year in 2018, which is a massive jump from a year ago.
Google is not the only company to see strong growth in search traffic.
Yahoo, which also reported strong growth, reports that its traffic increased by 6% in 2018.
The other big tech company, Microsoft, reported that it grew by 7.6% in 2017, which would be its largest year-over-year increase since 2012.
