Uber is expected to see a significant increase in demand for its app in the coming months as the ride-hailing company expands into the United States.
But according to a new report, Uber is already adding traffic to the road.
A new study conducted by the company’s research and analytics division says that in the first quarter of 2018, the company generated $13.7 billion in traffic across the United Sates and that this trend will likely continue through the end of 2021.
The Uber report says that traffic to its apps grew by 8.5% year-over-year, and that the company has made strides in attracting drivers from cities around the U.S. and overseas, including the Philippines.
In addition, the report says Uber’s traffic has increased substantially as it has opened new offices in cities across the U and internationally.
The report notes that in 2018, Uber had 7,742 active drivers in its United States service, and the number of drivers in the U, Australia, the UAT, Germany, Mexico and Japan increased by more than 60%.
