Inter announced on Monday that they will host Bayern Munich at the Stadio Olimpico on Wednesday, January 28.
The game will take place after a 3-2 loss at the hands of AC Milan, which ended Inter’s winning streak at the Allianz Arena.
The home side will now face Napoli on Saturday, January 21, and Real Madrid on Sunday, January 22.
The match will be played in front of a capacity crowd of 13,717, which means the two teams will be playing in a capacity of 19,737.
In the meantime, Inter have announced that the stadium will be closed from Tuesday evening until Saturday afternoon, so that the match can be played without a delay.
“Inter’s match with Bayern Munich is scheduled to be played at the Olimpiata Stadium in the coming days, but this will not affect our schedule,” the club said in a statement.
“The players and staff will be working hard to make sure that we can meet our goals, with the goal of bringing Inter to the Champions League.”
“We are grateful to all of the fans who showed their support and we hope that we have an unforgettable experience,” Inter’s director of sport Marco Borriello added.
Inter are currently in fifth place in the Serie A table, with a league position at the top of their table.
As previously reported, the club will be hoping to make a strong statement in the competition on Tuesday when they host Real Madrid.
